The McLean Monowheel Crash
It was in 2001, when Kerry asked if I’d like to come and watch him test out his newest creation… a monowheel with a Buick V-8. I said sure and brought my wife and kids. It was simply surreal watching Kerry make lap after lap around the parking lot. His final lap, was not to be like the rest and it nearly cost him his life.
Thankfully, Kerry survived the testing of his Rocket Roadster and he went on to make important changes to his design as a result.
